‘Now You See Me 2’ CinemaCon Screening Shut Down Due to Bomb Scare

Lionsgate’s panel at CinemaCon ended with drama. The studio originally planned to screen “Now You See Me 2” to theater owners during their last segment at the annual Las Vegas convention, but a security threat prompted the screening to end early as the crowd got evacuated. 
Security guards interrupted the screening around 15 minutes into the movie and asked everyone inside the Colosseum in Caesars Palace to leave. The staffer originally cited technical issue, but it was later revealed that an unattended backpack found inside the building raised the alarm.
