Michael Bay revealed that samurai autobot Drift would be back to “Transformers: The Last Knight”. The director shared on Twitter a picture of the new and improved Drift. The vehicular form is upgraded from a 2013 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse in “Transformers: Age of Extinction” to a Mercedes-AMG GT-R for the 2017 film. Other robots returning to the film include Vespa Squeeks, Bumblebee as well as the antagonist Barricade and Megatron.
The fifth “Transformers” film also continues to add actor to its growing cast. Paramount Pictures announced via Instagram on Thursday, June 30 that Santiago Cabrera is joining the cast. A picture of the actor in costume on the set was shared with a caption which read, “The newest member of the #transformers family: @santiagoc.”
