Daniel Craig confirms that he will reprise his role as James Bond in the upcoming “Bond 25“. The 50-year-old actor shared the news in an interview with AP Entertainment this week at the Opportunity Network’s charity auction.
“Slumdog Millionaire” director Danny Boyle was reportedly going to direct the movie. However, Daniel refused to talk about the director’s involvement in MGM and Eon Production’s movie. He said, “We’ll see, we’ll see.”
Daniel’s appearance at the charity auction was to sell his personal Aston Martin. It’s an iconic race car which appeared in James Bond films such as “Goldfinger” and “Skyfall“. He revealed that the proceeds from the sale would be donated to the Opportunity Network, which supports underprivileged students in their quest for higher education. When asked how much he wished the car would make, Daniel said, “As much as possible.”
Back to “Bond 25”, there are several other actors who are reportedly returning for the movie. Naomie Harris is rumored to reprise her role as Eve Moneypenny. Meanwhile, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear are expected to return as Q and Tanner, respectively.
