Ten years ago, Radio and Weasel dropped one of their biggest songs ever titled ‘Bread and Butter’, which premiered n 27th February 2009, and became an instant hit nation wide, and beyond boarders.
The dynamic duo had been on the scene for just a couple of years and in that period, they had released a couple of hit songs – none however had really received massive airplay like ‘Bread and Butter’ did.
The song won them several young fans, because of the catchy nature of its lyrics, including someone who has grown to become a big star of his generation – John Kasadha a.k.a John Black.
The ‘Obubadi’ hit-maker however claims that he first had this song in his primary one school time, but unfortunately his fans are not buying this fake story of his.
Through his Twitter account, John Black revealed that he was a really young boy who had just joined Primary school in P.1 when that song ruled the airwaves.
According to his bio, John Blaq was born in 1996 which makes him 23-years-old today. This means that he listened to the song when he was just thirteen-years-old. Well he didn’t calculate that, we guess.
