The recent visit of musicians and bloggers to State House didn’t end well for Bebe Cool after he was reprimanded and embarrassed by President Museveni right in front of his collogues.
This was after President Museveni told the NRM musicians and socialites to stop kneeling down while giving out NRM t-shirts to the people and begging people to vote him.
President Museveni’s idea was that instead of giving people just yellow T-shirts, they should rather advise them how they can get rid of poverty in their communities, by engaging in Agriculture and other income generating activities.
President Museveni also added that when people are busy making money, they won’t have time to engage themselves in riots and demonstrations on the streets.
On hearing this,Bebe Cool felt under appreciated for his hard work in the distribution of yellow T-shirts. On raising up his arm to explain, the NRM chairman told him to stop acting stupid when a President is talking. President Museveni further told him that there is no time to waste on his useless excuses.
According to King Michael, the president denied Bebe Cool a chance to speak saying that whenever he talks, he never stops.
Museveni, reportedly, rather opted for the likes of Full Figure, Catherine Kusasira and King Michael to speak.
